"It was a monstrous big river here, with the tallest and the thickest kind of timber on both banks; just a solid wall, as well as I could see by the stars."

This quotation is a great description of what the character is looking at at the time. It gives specific information and also describes the surroundings of it. The reason why I chose the quotation is becasue the character makes something that is actually small in life seem so big because of the description of it. It also includes the stars and I really like the stars and space.
